This is not a physical product, these are digital tune files (support packs). You must have an existing HP Tuner MPVI2 or MPVI3 Device to link these tunes.
By custom tuning a truck, you are given the ability to modify countless parameters to the engine and transmission operation. Wake up your L5P Duramax with an Emissions On or Emissions Off Tune from Five Stars Diesel Performance out of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada. When it comes to tuning, we only sell what we run ourselves.
How does our custom tuning work?
Step 1. You choose your tune by truck year and the device you are using, make sure to fill out all modifications done!
Step 2. Five Stars writes an optimized tune to specifically suit your truck and modifications. These can be customized to suit any setup, whether it's a twin-turbo race truck or a daily driver tow rig
Step 3. We contact you with instructions and your tune (we try our best to have this ready within 1 business day!)
HP Tuners uses a credit-based licensing system. Credits must be acquired to flash tunes. To find a complete list of HP Tuners credit cost, visit: https://www.hptuners.com/vehicles/
Power Levels typically range from 0-180HP. Higher Power levels can be written with the proper supporting modifications. Different power levels can be written under request and/or depending on modifications to the vehicle. As all tune files are custom; this will give you a general idea of what you could or can get:
- Level 1 30 HP
- Level 2 60 HP
- Level 3 90 HP
- Level 4 120 HP
- Level 5 150-180 HP
TCM Tuning is optional, however, recommended.
All Duramax 5 stage tuning is SOTF. Unless you have an SOTF switch, we can tune these right into your steering wheel controls.
